அன்பென்ற மழையிலே

அன்பென்ற மழையிலே அகிலங்கள் நனையவே அதிரூபன் தோன்றினானே..

I am hooked to this song. It has been around for a while, but I listened to it closely only this week. The more I listen to this song, it clings to me more. Anuradha Sriram has done a great job of modulation in this simple but difficult song. It's song about Jesus Christ sung my Hindu and music score by a Muslim (only in India).

Film - Minsara Kanavu (1997)
Directed by - Rajeev Menon
Music by - AR Rahman
Sung by - Anuradha Sriram

  2. Ram, that was one of my all time fav songs...it was of Anandabairavi raga (i guess with my lil knowledge) and was a master-piece. Anuradha did excellently...I am very sad that she has been 'stamped' for peppy songs now-a-days ;(

All these days, I had enjoyed this song very much being a fan of Anuradha Sriram (also Sujatha), but failed to observe this :)
