Is there anything left to enforce?
First, Tamil Nadu comes up with a strict rule following the high court directive and forces people to comply on the first day of implementation.
Then the very next day, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister chides the cops and asks them to go easy enforcing the rule.
Now, Tamil Nadu has for all practical purpose exempted women and children from the purview of the rule as though their lives don't matter.
I am talking about the new helmet rule in Tamil Nadu. I am not sure what is left to enforce? It boils down to enforcing the rule only on men.. Isn't it some kind of discrimination? Why not scrap the entire rule.. I know, they can't because of the high court directive. what a farce..
