Travelog # 33 - Reliable Connectivity

When we started for this vacation I was bit worried about internet connectivity from the Tier-II / III towns (Darjeeling, Kalimpong & Gangtok) with my Reliance data card. But, I am pleasantly surprised and glad to report that my data card working exceedingly well from all the towns I have been in the past week.

Connecting from Gangtok with Reliance Data Card

I am now near Gangtok and able to post and upload reliably with my Reliance data card. This is simply wonderful and something I didn't quite expect.

ps: It's a different story as to why I want connectivity and lug my laptop around on a vacation. That's the question my daughter asked me and I didn't have an answer to.

  1. I thought R is more outspoken and I am delightfully surprised the question came from our princess M.

I used it Darjeeling, Kalimpong & Gangtok and Bagdodara.. It worked like a champ..

Siliguri is a bigger town and the Reliance data card should work well there also..

So the net is I would keep it..
